Iron Strainer

It features a bolted bonnet with blow-off plug for screen maintenance. The strainers are equipped with flanged end connections for easy installation.

Introduction of Iron Strainer

iron strainer filters rust, pipe scale and dirt to protect valves, meters, regulators, etc. in steam, gases or liquid piping systems. The strainer includes a wire mesh straining screen that is accessible without removing the strainer from the line. 

The strainer is a “Y” type with a branch angled off the flow path. It features a bolted bonnet with blow-off plug for screen maintenance. The strainers are equipped with flanged end connections for easy installation.
