Brass ball valve
Brass ball valve
Introduction of Brass ball valve
This ball valve is primarily used to permit and stop media flow. It can be controlled either manually or automatically through an actuator. This valve type is made from the combination of copper and zinc. This gives the valve enhanced flexibility. Just like bronze, brass has high malleability, which means it is easy to forge or cast. A brass ball valve also has a high resistance to corrosion. However, it is not well-suited for process media containing high levels of chlorine.
While it is more expensive than bronze, brass has a high melting point. This makes the valve work well in applications that deal with really high temperatures. A brass ball valve is often used in natural gas lines but is also suitable for other industrial applications. XHVAL provides more well-performanced ball valves for your applications.
