cf8m ball valve
Cf8m Ball Valve
Introduction of Cf8m Ball Valve
The cf8m in valves means the type of material it is made with. The “c” stands for corrosion-resistance, the “f” refers to the iron, nickel, and chromium content, the “8” signifies the carbon content, and the “m” for the molybdenum content.
Since this material contains molybdenum, a cf8m ball valve has increased resistance to chlorides and halides. As a result, it is also known as a marine stainless steel ball valve. This is because of its enhanced resistance to chloride compared to other grades of stainless steel.
Moreover, a cf8m ball valve has excellent tensile strength. Also called a 316 stainless steel ball valve, this valve type is ideal for applications that have higher pressures and temperatures.
