Introduction of Swing Check Valve

A swing check valve functions similarly to a butterfly valve and is primarily used to transport flow in a single direction. As its name denotes, this type of check valve has a swinging disc at the center that allows or blocks media flow.

Since it is used in an array of applications, it can be made from different materials. It can be made from metal, such as stainless steel and brass, and PVC. A metal swing check valve is often used in industrial applications while a PVC valve is used in less severe working conditions.
